Subject:  Austrian Update

Okay this will be brief since I don't have much time.

Than and I have spent 3 days now in Grunau Austria
which central near the Alps and Salzberg. The town is
very small and we are staying in a super cool Hostel
that is like a big house where the owner cooks our
meals and the people are great. We have relaxed quite
a bit here and socialized with the other travellers.
We biked one day and today we hiked to the top of a
mountain and covered about 3000-3500 vertical feet.
From the summit we could see the big Alps. It took us
about 3.5 hours to hike to the top. I was just glad I
could make it that far. We are training for our
Kilamanjaro climb in Tanzania.

Oh yes, in Cesky Krumlov we stayed an extra day and
canoed down the Vltava river. It was pretty mellow
but we flooded the canoe going through a boat shoot in
one of the small dams. We went with a girl Serelle we
met at the hostel.

The people in the Hostel in Austria have been awsome.

Okay, I must sign off now. I'll write more soon.

P.S. My back is feeling much better now.

Cheers,

Chris and Than
