Greetings from St. Petersburg!

We arrived Sunday and it seems like we've been walking
ever since then (but now starting to employ the metro
a bit more). We've toured around the Nevsky Prospekt
(main drag in St. P.) multiple times, seeing elaborate
churches, strikingly beautiful Russians, and famous
sites such as the Hermitage and Winter Palace.

We're staying in a hostel next to a prison (no escapes
yet) and occupying ourselves trying to pick up a
little Russian language (the cyrillic alphabet is
whacked).
Experienced a bit of Russian food and beer (no vodka
as yet) and even met some locals, including a Finnish
businessman named Pujo (who we met in an Irish pub,
oddly enough) who's been kind enough to show us some
of the less touristy parts of town. 

We've got a few more days to go here, and will send
more details later, probably from Prague. Take care,
we miss you all already!
